iGevalt - Dreidel Simulator 1.0.1

iGevalt is a 3D dreidel simulator designed for the celebration of Hanukkah. For those unfamiliar, a dreidel is a traditional four-sided spinning top used in the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. On each side of the dreidel, there is a letter representing an aspect of the game: נ (Nun), ג (Gimel), ה (Hei), and ש (Shin).

These letters come together to form the acronym "נס גדול היה שם" (Nes Gadol Haya Sham), which translates to "a great miracle happened there." Moreover, they serve as a mnemonic for the game's rules: Nun for "nothing," Hei for "half," Gimel for "all," and Shin for "put."

The Yiddish spelling of dreidel is written as דרײדל or in Roman characters as dreydl.

This application provides a straightforward simulation of the dreidel experience. Users can spin the virtual dreidel using a swipe gesture or by employing two fingers to mimic the spinning motion. Upon landing, a notification will display the outcome and provide guidance for gameplay. Additionally, authentic sounds of children playing enhance the immersive experience.
